Recently in the papers and internet, there have been much discussion the minister pay package. Which our Prime minister is already earning 5 times more than the USA president wanting to double his salary and that of the other Singapore minister too. (which will make it 10 times USA president pay) Of course according to them, it is to make sure we don't lose good people to the private sector and also to make sure there are no corruption, so we need to pay them as much as the best in the private sector, and on top give them pension. (which is not given in the private sector)

Well, does that mean the countries that pay lower salary, no pension, have a corrupted government and also the best mind in the countries are all not in the government? Does it also mean that Singapore government are righteous just because they have more than enough already? Will something happen and force our government to be corrupted if there is a sudden and long lasting recession that force them to lower their salary?

Despite of all the unpleasant feeling of some Singaporeans, I wonder if they will actually remember this during the next election.

If you don't like the pay increment or simply even the current pay of the minister, then don't vote for them. If you want to vote for them, then you should have already know what you did and will do. No point complaining, remember this incident when you vote 4 years down, and make a sound decision.
